Dialogue Series

Dialogue Series

Aims & Scope

The Dialogue Series was launched in July 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, to maintain the network and partner organizations engaged in a process of collective reflection. The focus of the Dialogues was on the crisis itself under the special theme of ‘Spectres of Crisis, Rays of Hope’.

The Dialogue Series since then has become one of the key activities of ASN, occurring several times per year with discussions on current affairs, book launches, and other events.

The core partners for this initiative are SMAIAS, CARES and Coletivo Novo Bandung, along with supporting partners which include the Postgraduate Programme in World Political Economy at the Federal University of ABC (Brazil), the Postgraduate Programme of the Social Sciences in Development, Agriculture and Society at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), the Centre for Informal Sector and Labour Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University (India), the Institute of African Studies at the University of Ghana, the Global University for Sustainability (China), and ActionAid Association (India).
