We can be certain now that mass mobilizations and serial insurrectional outbreaks will occur throughout this decade and that they will amount to much more than a passing phase of social unrest. Polarization is far advanced in the peripheries of the world economy and it has also made a leap in the centres since 2008. Faith in neoliberal tenets has been shaken by protracted crisis and the continuing rise of China. The pandemic tragedy has further shifted subjective conditions worldwide.
